Sharing a preview of your video is key when connecting with your clients or leads. To ensure your clients/leads are using this as a preview only, sharing a watermarked version of your video can help.
A watermark is a word or graphic, embedded into your video preview, to ensure secure preview of your video and restrict unauthorized use. For Waymark creators, your watermark will appear as the words "video preview" embedded throughout your video.
The best way to check if your preview has a watermark is, of course, to watch your video and keep an eye out for the embedded text.
That said, there are a few alternative ways to check if your video preview includes a watermark.
Look at the Download preview video button
Look at the Download preview video button
Open the Share button for your video and navigate down to the Download preview video button.
If the button appears with a grayed out download icon + animated ellipsis (...), your render is in progress and will not showcase the watermark until this preview render has completed.
If the button appears with the download icon + unit of measure for a digital download, your preview link and preview video should include the watermark.
Check your Preview/Sharing Link
Check your Preview/Sharing Link
Open your Preview or Sharing Link in a new browser and look at the top left area above your video preview.
If you see "Loading updated render" at the top left above the video preview, your render is in progress and will not showcase the watermark until this preview render has completed.
If there is no text above your video preview, your preview link and preview video should include the watermark.
