If your video generation includes footage, you can edit that footage within the Waymark Editor. Simply select the footage you'd like to edit. From here, you have the option to:

  • Search and use stock footage (powered by Shutterstock)

    • Click Search stock clips

    • Search by entering keywords or using any of the categories provided

    • Hover to preview the footage

    • Click to select and add to your brand footage library

  • Swap or upload brand footage

    • Select from the brand footage library to choose a new one OR...

    • Click Upload if you need to add one

    • Select the footage file to add

    • Note: Formats accepted are .mp4, .webm, or .mov. Uploads have a file size limit of 300 MB.

  • Edit footage

    • To edit the footage currently selected, navigate to the Edit tab

    • Trim, Fit & Fill - Adjust how you’d like your footage to fill the placeholder

      • Fill the whole container - This fills the whole placeholder with the footage selected and adjust the focal point by dragging the circle to where you'd like to direct the focus. You will also have the ability to zoom in to adjust the frame shown.

      • Fit my entire video - This will showcase each corner of your footage and allow you to crop it and adjust the frame shown. You also have the option to put padding to add a space in the placeholder.

      • Select segment and trim your clip - If your selected footage is longer than the footage placeholder, you can select which segment of the footage or adjust the length you’d like to show by dragging the slider bar left or right; OR the blue bars on either side.

Note: By default, the length of the footage is based on the length of the footage placeholder. Should you extend it more than the default length of the placeholder, it will speed up your footage to fit. And when it is too short, it will hold the last second to fill the remaining length.

  • Adjust audio

    • Clip Volume - If the footage selected has audio, you can adjust the volume level by dragging it left to right; OR mute it by clicking on the volume icon to the left.

    • Music & Voiceover Volume - You can adjust the music and the voiceover volume in this section of the video.

      • Tip: You can turn the music the music and voiceover down should you want to showcase the audio on the footage used!
