Finished edits on your video and client no longer has edits? Get a formal approval by sending your client the Client Approval Link.

The Client Approval link, once approved, will provide you with an email confirmation and showcase as Client Approved on your Account Page.

Find and send your Client Approval Link

To find your Client Approval link:

  • Login to your Waymark account

  • At the top right, click on Account

  • Scroll down to locate the draft of your video

  • Click the More button next to your draft

  • Click Client approval to generate a shareable link

  • Click Get shareable link

  • Click Copy to copy your link

  • Send your link to your client via email or text

While your video is awaiting Client Approval, you will see the Awaiting client approval tag on your Draft Video on the Account page.

How your Client approves your Draft

If your client is ready to approve your draft, they'll be following this flow:

  • Your client will click on the Client Approval link as shared by you, via email or text

  • Your client will be able to view your video draft, similar to your Preview link or Preview video

  • At the top right, your client can click the Approve this Video button

  • A pop-up will appear, allowing your client to sign off on your video formally by checking a box and providing their full name

  • Once the checkbox and full name are entered, your client can click Approve Video

After your Client approves your Draft

Once your client has clicked Approve this Video on your Client Approval link:

  • You will receive an email notification (to the email address used for your login), confirming that your client has provided approval

  • You will also see an updated tag on your Draft video on your account page, showing as Client approved.
